Accelerating Innovation Research (PFI:AIR) Webinar NSF 12-571

SCOPE:  The Partnerships for Innovation (PFI): Accelerating Innovation Research (AIR), NSF 12-571, is offering two choices, Technology Translation and Research Alliance. Both choices are designed to accelerate innovation that results in the creation of new wealth and the building of strong local, regional, and national economies.  The first choice encourages the translation of technologically-promising research discoveries toward a path of commercialization; while the second choice promotes synergistic collaborations between an existing NSF-funded research alliance and other entities to translate and transfer existing research discoveries into commercial reality and spinoffs.

The attendees will be able to call-in questions following the webinar and the webinar material will be available on the NSF’s Industrial and Innovation Partnerships website at the conclusion of the webinar. The aim of the webinar is to outline the key requirements of the two choices available within the PFI: AIR solicitation – Technology Translation and Research Alliance.

Wednesday 25 July 2012 at 10:00 am – 11:00 am EDT.

Prior to the webinar: participants are strongly encouraged to review the solicitation.
