Postdoctoral Associates
CCICADA, the Command, Control and Interoperability Center for Advanced Data Analysis, a US DHS center of excellence at Rutgers University, invites applications for postdoctoral associates for positions starting on or about August 1 to September 1, 2012. Applicants should be recent or soon to be PhDs with interest in operations research, computer science, discrete mathematics, statistics, and other related areas. Positions are project-oriented with focus on methods such as mathematical/computer modeling, combinatorial optimization, advanced data analysis, and discrete event simulation. Postdocs will work on projects with agencies such as FEMA, CDC, CBP, and Coast Guard dealing with natural disasters, disease events, resource allocation, law enforcement, and counterterrorism.
