Entry Level Imaging Engineer

A company specializing in medical imaging technology used in hospitals, imaging centers and private practices world-wide is looking to fill one or possibly two entry level Imaging Engineer positions to expand its engineering team. As a part of the engineering team you will be working on state of the art new generations of CT scanners that will be helping medical professionals diagnose patients in ICU, operating and the emergency room. Education requirement: Master’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline, PhD preferred. Experience: Minimum One year experience creating production ready codes in the fields of imaging processing and computer vision, as well as experience using MATLAB and C or C++.

Imaging Engineer

As a part of the engineering team you will be working on state of the art new generations of CT scanners that will be helping medical professionals diagnose patients in ICU, operating and the emergency room. The company is looking to fill one or possibly two entry level imaging engineers.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Master’s in an Engineering Discipline. Ph.D. preferred.

Experience:

Minimum One year experience creating production ready codes in the fields of imaging processing and computer vision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming Experience in: Windows, Linux environment is a plus, C or C++, MATLAB
  • Experience developing software-based medical products.
  • Experience in Digital Image processing.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with senior scientists and algorithm developers.
  • The candidate should have good writing and documentation skills.
  • The successful candidate should be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • The candidate should be able to provide and perform test protocols for new and existing image quality algorithms.
  • The candidate must interface with the customers and other engineers as needed.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
