The topic of this workshop, “Defining Residues, Substrates, and Sampling Media for the Contact Sampling Roadmap,” included the following:

    • Plenary and keynote presentations summarizing the state-of-the-art and key challenges associated with contact sampling effectiveness and sampling media, residues, and substrates.
    • Workshop-style breakout sessions to identify representative residues, sampling media, and substrates that will form the basis for the Contact Sampling Roadmap that was introduced at TED (Trace Explosives Detection) 2014 in Charlottesville, VA.

Participants: 
Participants contributed to the discussion of the choice of media, residues, and substrates for the roadmap.

Lodging:
A Room block has been reserved for the nights of August 12th and 13th at the Inn at Longwood Medical, in Boston under ALRT0813. The room rate is $199/night + tax. The room rate will be held until July 21, 2014.
